2. Services

A1 Service Expert provides vehicle servicing, repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance services. All work is carried out by qualified technicians using appropriate tools and equipment.

  • Services are performed in accordance with manufacturer specifications where applicable
  • We reserve the right to refuse service if we believe the work is beyond our capabilities or equipment
  • Additional work may be identified during service or repair; we will contact you for authorization before proceeding

3. Quotes and Pricing

  • Quotes provided are estimates based on the information available at the time
  • Final costs may vary if additional work is required or parts pricing changes
  • We will inform you of any significant changes to the quoted price before proceeding
  • All prices include VAT at the current rate unless otherwise stated

4. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon collection of the vehicle unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing
  • We accept cash, debit cards, and credit cards
  • We reserve the right to retain the vehicle until payment is received in full

5. Warranty

Parts and labour are warranted as follows:

  • Parts: Covered by manufacturer warranty (typically 12 months)
  • Labour: 12 months from date of completion
  • Warranty does not cover wear and tear, misuse, or damage caused by factors outside our control
  • Warranty is void if subsequent work on the same components is carried out by a third party

6. Customer Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for providing accurate information about your vehicle and its history
  • You must inform us of any known faults or previous repairs
  • Personal belongings left in vehicles are your responsibility; we accept no liability for loss or damage
  • Vehicles must be collected within 7 days of work completion

7. Liability

Our liability is limited as follows:

  • We maintain comprehensive insurance for our business operations
  • Our liability for any claim is limited to the cost of the service or repair in question
  • We are not liable for consequential losses such as loss of earnings or alternative transport costs
  • Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence

8. Cancellation

  • You may cancel a booking with reasonable notice
  • If work has commenced, you will be charged for work completed and parts ordered
  • We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee for late cancellations

10. Disputes

  • We aim to resolve any concerns promptly and professionally
